I am with first-utility at the moment. They failed to send the bill to my actual address for 5 months. When they do, they estimate my gas usage basing on a family of 4 living in a semi-detached house (when I am employed full time, often out and away at weekends in a well insulated 2 bedrooms apartment). So I am roughly being overcharged 4 times to my actual usage.
Not many people have the maths skills or time (or both) to investigate their actual usage and how much being charged, I would not find it surprising if more than 90% of people in this country are being overcharged by their utility supplier.

I switched to EDF and they don’t seem to be any better at all. Keep on overcharging me. Grrrrr #%%^#!!?

glad u think swalec are dicks as well , iv just moved home and the property has a pre payment meter , iv pspent the last 3 hours trying to get them to change it to credit meter , simpl u might think but oh no not for swalec , they are trying to charge me £52 to change a meter i didnt want in the first place id laugh if i wasnt so peed off .
