Is this one of the same old P2P service that will be taken down or bought over by the ever desperate and notoriously backward sighted music industry. Well, maybe not, if it is true what their (Qtrax) website states. From midnight US EST or for us folks in Europe @ 6am on Tuesday, 28th of January 2008 their P2P client was supposed to be available for download.
From this client you should be available to download “100% free” music downloads from a list of 25 million songs.

There has been a change on Qtrax’s website and their client is now available for download here.

There is a registration necessary and that seems to be the tricky part in the process as I am still waiting for the registration page to load after about 15 minutes!!
Apparently all these server requests have slightly downed their server…
