History shows us that on many occasions marrying two music groups just on the merit of them both being cool does not always bare fruit. This definitely cannot be said in the case of the recent collaboration of Siddharta and Dan D, both Slovene rock/pop groups that are very good when performing their own songs but have created an instant hit with joining the songs “Voda” ba Dan D and Siddharta’s “Male roke”.

The first airing of the song was a really a surprise performance at the 2006 Viktors – the Slovene version of the Oscars, but the range of awards is much wider. Perhaps the fact, that other award shows in the past were phased out, has something to do with that. The song was then, again, performed live at the Sunday afternoon entertainment show called “Tistega Lepega Popoldneva” or TLP for short.
