I have written quite a lot about Wales and Pembrokeshire and I haven’t really written about the house I am living in. Before I left Ljubljana and I was thinking of possible accommodation, I thought it would be a good idea if instead of renting an apartment, where I would be all alone I would actually rent just a room in a house and share the rest of the house with others.
I would definitely recommend this to others who intent to travel to distant places, where they don’t have any family or friends as your housemates might be the only company you will find besides workemates. And if you get the sort of housemates I have then you will definately be OK. The name of the house, where I am staying is called Bryn Illtyd, and the first weekend I spent there I got invited out on the twon with all three housemates Dan, Clare and Mark. It was the Easter bank holiday and that made the homesickness even worse. Since then I have been out partying mor etimes then in the last year before moving to Wales. I will actually have to get used to going to sleep at 3am on Saturday morning. But who cares when you don’t have to get up early to go to work and you and your housemates take a nice leisurely trip to the Bristol Trader and have a cool beer and a good breakfast. (I will have to write a separate blog article just on our ‘special’ Haverfordwest pub crawl)
